Student Services

A major function of the Student Services area is to assist students in making maximum progress toward satisfying educational, vocational, personal, and social goals. Assistance may be given to incoming or enrolled students in many areas: choice of appropriate program, selection of occupational goals, admissions procedures, financial assistance, housing, scholarships, loans, work-study, veterans assistance, student records, scholastic standing, eligibility for graduation, and job placement.

Counseling is always directed toward the welfare of the individual. Every effort is made to help the student attain maximum potential. Each student will be assigned a counselor who is available for individual assistance. If in-depth counseling services are recognized by the Student Services counselor and student, referrals to appropriate agencies are provided.

All instructors have assigned office hours and will be available at prearranged times for student advising and assistance with studies.

HEALTH INSURANCE

Students are responsible for their own health insurance program. An optional health insurance policy is available for all students enrolled in credit classes. Contact Student Services for additional information.
