Pre-Requisite for Online Classes
One way to assure success is for you to complete an "Orientation to Online Learning." This FREE introduction will give you an idea of what to expect in an online course. Even if you have had previous experience with online learning, we ask that you complete the Orientation. Our course development platform is provided by Blackboard. The orientation will give you experience with this software.
You are required to complete the Orientation course before classes begin. Access to the online course you are enrolled in will be granted following successful completion of the Orientation course. If you have any questions, contact Beth Cummins at 608.822.2302 or 1.800.362.3322, Extension 2302.
PLEASE NOTE: To maintain student loan eligiblity, students must carry six credits each semester and be accepted in a program at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.
