Health Office
The College Health Office is required to produce affiliation reports for students entering all health-related fields, childcare and dental assistance programs. Depending on program requirements, students need to complete an immunization/communicable disease history, TB skin testing history, and documentation of a current physical. These forms must be completed and reviewed by the college health educator for approval. Cost of the health requirements are the responsibility of the student. The college health educator is located in Building 300 in the Human Resources Office.
College Student Health Insurance
Any full- or part-time student who is registered and attending classes at Southwest Tech is eligible to enroll in the Sentry Student Security Plan, a special health insurance program specially designed for students. Students with families may also obtain coverage for their spouses and/or children.
