Thomas Heffner

Hello, my name is Thomas Heffner, a graphic and web design student originally from Dubuque, Iowa. I have spent most of my life in the Midwest, where I developed an appreciation for visual storytelling and creative problem-solving through design. My experiences have shaped both my perspective and my work ethic. During a challenging period of my life, including a time when I was without stable housing, I continued working and maintained a management role during the COVID-19 pandemic. That experience strengthened my resilience, adaptability, and ability to lead under pressure; qualities I bring into my creative work today. One of my favorite projects has been creating a movie poster, where I was able to come up with my own interpretation of Fast And Furious. After graduation, I plan to continue developing my skills and expanding my education while pursuing opportunities within the game design industry or a creative design firm. I am passionate about creating thoughtful, engaging visual work that connects with audiences and communicates ideas effectively. My favorite animals are dogs, any kind.
