Tonight in Wisconsin Dells, Kajal Patel represented Southwest Tech with grace and heart as she took the stage at the Wisconsins Technical Colleges Student Ambassador Banquet, sharing her story with students, educators, and leaders from across the state. Each year, one student from each of Wisconsinโ€™s 16 technical colleges is selected to serve as a Student Ambassador through a leadership development and recognition program sponsored by Baird, a global, employee-owned financial services firm based in Milwaukee. Kajal, a Southwest Tech Graphic & Web Design student and Richland Center High School graduate, was selected as Southwest Techโ€™s 2025 Student Ambassadorโ€”and tonight, she showed everyone exactly why. โ€œSouthwest Tech genuinely cares about its students. Whether itโ€™s financial planning, personal struggles, or anything in betweenโ€”thereโ€™s always someone there to offer support. Iโ€™ve met many people who care deeply about me and continue to encourage me. That kind of care truly makes a difference. Itโ€™s what sets Southwest Tech apart.โ€ โ€œSouthwest Tech has changed me in ways I never imagined.
