Southwest Tech Student Delivers Free Resources To Those In Need
Paige Johnston, a student in the Nonprofit Leadership program at Southwest Tech, has been busy this summer. She bought a camper, but instead of camping she started The Boundless Trailer, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Through the trailer, Paige helps combat poverty and assists when natural disasters strike. She offers support and distributes everyday items, such as clothing and toiletries to those in need.

We are currently hiring a Foundation Director and IT Support Specialist.
• The Foundation Director will be the lead fundraiser in the full development effort of external relationships including nonprofit partnerships and also alumni development, from annual donations to major gifts. This position will also assist with running and planning events and recruit for fundraising committees.
• The IT Support Specialist assists the college to effectively utilize technology within the academic, administrative, or operational areas. The position provides advanced computer and technical assistance to individual end users, manages applications, and installs and repairs hardware, software, and peripherals. This position is 40 hours per week with full-time benefits.

Hill finds success with University Transfer program
Matthew Hill, Montfort, took advantage of the University Transfer Liberal Arts (UTLA) Associate’s Degree program at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College and he is now just one semester away from earning a Master’s degree.
Hill graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 2018 and found his way to Southwest Tech. “I have a physical disability and I have to be cognizant of the things that are presented with that,” he said. “So, I decided I would check some smaller places out, some places that have similar characteristics to the small school I went to for high school.”
