Update From President, Jason S. Wood, Ph.D. – February 18, 2022

Dear Campus Community,

Please note on Monday, February 21 our COVID protocols will be updated to include the following:

  1. Facemasks will be recommended, not required, for most spaces on campus
  2. Facemasks will still be required in lab/learning areas for Childcare, Cosmetology, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Medical Lab Technician.
  3. Students participating in clinical rotations, internships, or other learning experiences in other facilities are required to comply with the regulations of those entities.

These updates are consistent with health authority guidelines, declining covid rates, and decreasing impact on operations.  Please continue to follow good hygiene practices, stay home when you are sick, and seek your primary medical care provider’s advice regarding vaccine options.

We encourage people to be respectful of each other as individuals make the best decisions possible for their situation.  We will continue to monitor the pandemic and adapt our policies as needed.

Please feel free to share your questions, comments, or feedback with your instructor, advisor, supervisor, HR, or me.  We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Thanks,

Jason
