Fennimore -It was Fall harvest time on campus recently. Agriculture students were in the field, literally, harvesting soybeans. We farm approximately 16 acres as part of our Agricultural Demonstration Lab on campus. This year, we planted soybeans (4 acres), alfalfa (4 acres) and corn (8 acres). Students get experience in a variety of ways, including soil sampling, planting, harvesting, crop scouting/evaluations, and equipment experiences throughout all of the processes, among others.
