Royal Bank Donates to Southwest Tech Foundation in Recognition of Service
Royal Bank recently presented a check to Southwest Wisconsin Technical College representatives in recognition of retired board member, Jack Rath.
Fennimore, Wisconsin -Royal Bank recently presented a check to Southwest Wisconsin Technical College representatives in recognition of retired board member, Jack Rath. Rath retired in December 2017 after serving 52 years on the board of directors.
Rath chose the Division of Agriculture, Industry and Trades at Southwest Tech to receive the gift. “The education and employment opportunities available in Southwest Wisconsin are numerous,” said Rath. “The programs at Southwest Tech help to recruit and retain talent to the area in industries that help bolster our local economy. It is my hope that this gift will help to continue that tradition.” Southwest Tech boasts a 95% job placement for graduates within one year of graduation. Of those 93% are employed within Wisconsin, and 63% are employed within their five-county district of Grant, Iowa, La Fayette, Richland and Crawford counties.
Holly Clendenen, executive director of the Southwest Tech Foundation, thanked Royal Bank for the donation, “We appreciate Royal Bank recognizing Mr. Rath’s service with a donation in his honor to help our students. This donation will allow the Foundation to award more scholarships to students.” The Foundation’s mission is to promote learning through funding and activities that enable Southwest Tech to provide opportunities for success.
