Graduation student speaker – Edgar Mendez
Edgar Mendez will be the student speaker for the Nursing, Business, Management, and General Studies Graduation Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19 in the Ag/Auto Center. Mendez is graduating with a degree in graphic and web design.

What are your plans after graduation? Military training for six weeks and then finding a job in graphic and web design.
What have you learned during your time on campus? How many resources Southwest Tech has to help students further their education and how being in a technical college you get really close to your classmates and instructors.
What advice do you have for your fellow graduates? Never give up. Be ambitious and chase your dream.
In 10 years, where do you hope to be, professionally? I hope to be in a big design firm in a leadership position, accomplishing everything that I possibly can.
