How did Southwest Tech prepare you for your current position? Going to Southwest Tech was the best decision I made. I gained the knowledge and skills necessary to perform day to day tasks in the law enforcement field. I am extremely grateful for all the hands-on training that I received, and it is because of that hands-on training that I am confident that I possess the abilities that make me qualified to dive in to the career field.
Why did you choose your field of study? I have wanted to be in law enforcement for as long as I can remember. I have always enjoyed helping people in their time of need, and in this career, I will get to help others every day.
What advice would you have for other students thinking about advancing their education? Continuing your education can be vital to ensuring that you are able to perform in the career field that you wish to pursue. I am glad that I attended Southwest Tech because they had a variety of different options to help get me to the field of study that I chose. I would strongly recommend anyone who is contemplating continuing their education to give Southwest Tech a sincere chance. They have amazing instructors who go out of their way to lead you towards success and they take a personal interest in seeing you succeed. The instructors also have a vast array of connections within the career field that they help connect you to employers so you can explore your options and possibly get you a career before you graduate.
