How did Southwest Tech prepare you for your current position? Southwest Tech prepared me for my current position in building trades by providing a great instructor, hands-on experience and extremely beneficial classroom time. Our class is building a duplex from the ground up.
Why did you choose your field of study? I have been interested in building and construction from a very young age. The carpentry program just confirmed that I am in the right field.
What advice would you have for other students thinking about advancing their education? Southwest Tech is a great school to advance your education because it prepares you for the real world because of all the hands-on experience. Also, the staff is so helpful and friendly.
