Fennimore -

The Southwest Tech Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Tri-County Human Resources Association (TCHRA) Scholarship. The scholarship was established by TCHRA to provide financial assistance to a student who has completed one year of coursework at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College and is enrolled in the Business Management or Supervisory Management Program.

TCHRA is made up of Human Resource professionals from Grant, Iowa and Lafayette counties. Their mission is to provide affordable speakers and networking opportunities to Southwest Wisconsin’s human resource professionals, business owners, management and supervisory staffs. TCHRA promotes continual professional and personal growth.

Carly Runde, President of TCHRA and Human Resources Manager at Montchevre, is pleased that the organization can support students in this way. “TCHRA is pleased to announce the offering of a $500 scholarship to those individuals seeking employment in Business Management and/or Supervisory Management fields. TCHRA is excited to partner with Southwest Tech to be able to provide financial assistance to those students who will one day be in a management and/or supervisory role for our local companies. TCHRA’s goal is to continue to build long lasting professional relationships and help with the continual growth of those valued employees.”

“We appreciate the support of the Tri-County Human Resources Association and their dedication to helping students achieve success in their future endeavors by helping to fund their education,” said Kim Schmelz, Director of External Relations and Alumni Development.
