How did Southwest Tech prepare you for your current position? Southwest Tech provided me with the education to become a competent nurse. With classroom theory and hands-on skills, my experience has enabled me to think critically and provide the upmost care for my patients.
Why did you choose your field of study? Nursing is so rewarding in many ways. I enjoy making a difference in other people’s lives.
What advice would you have for other students thinking about advancing their education? Find what it is that makes you happy and go for it. It doesn’t matter if you are a new high school graduate or you have been out of school for years. Southwest Tech offers a variety of learning styles to accommodate needs.
