Megan Campbell

Hometown: Fennimore, Wisconsin

Program: University Transfer Liberal Arts

Plans after graduation: Place and area of study I’ve been accepted to the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. There, I plan to major in Organizational and Professional Communications with a minor in Leadership Development.

Career goals: I’d like to work for an organization to help them build community relations, grow their foundation department and do other public relations work.

What did you enjoy about Southwest Tech? During my time at Southwest Tech, I enjoyed the number of opportunities I was given and the friendly staff that I met. Throughout my two-plus years, I was able to be given many opportunities that included a Leadership Development class, running for several officer positions for the whole student population, serving as Parliamentarian for all 16 Wisconsin Technical Colleges in their Wisconsin Student Government, and serving in many different departments on campus. These included the Foundation, Human Resources, Student Ambassadors, Student Senate, and Facilities. In all of these different departments, I was able to meet so many staff members who helped me succeed. If I were to struggle, it wouldn’t be just one person to ask if I was okay. Many of them would come to my need if I were to have a bad day. At SWTC, I felt like I was home. I had a family, people who would be supportive of me and my decisions.
