- 3:30 pm Nursing-Associate Degree Graduation Ceremony
Speakers
Chasity Rogers – Master of Ceremonies
Hometown: Boscobel, Wisconsin
Plans after graduation: I plan to continue my education. I want to get nursing experience while obtaining my MSN, and my end goal is teaching (hopefully at SWTC).
What have you enjoyed most about your Southwest Tech experience? I really enjoy the small community, and the smaller class sizes. The instructors/tutors/advisors are focused on helping us achieve our goals, and from what I have experienced, they go above and beyond for their students. You don't always get this with a larger college.
Kiley Cates | Student Speaker
Hometown: Town of Wyoming, Wisconsin
Plans after graduation: I have accepted a position at Upland Hills Health.
What I enjoyed about my experience at SWTC: What I enjoyed most about my time at SWTC was building relationships with my classmates and instructors that will continue beyond graduation.
Message to the graduates: As Michael Josephson said, "Take pride in how far you’ve come. Have faith in how far you can go. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey." Let's take pride in this accomplishment, believe we can accomplish whatever we put our minds to, and be sure to have fun doing it. Cheers to us- we did it!
Dayne Krachey | Student Speaker
Hometown: Wauzeka, Wisconsin
Plans after graduation: I have accepted a full-time night shift position at Grant Regional in the ER and Med/Surg.
What have you enjoyed about your Southwest Tech experience? I enjoyed the people I went to school with. They made it worth coming to class and were always there for you when you needed them the most.
Message to the graduates: Perseverance is important in your education. Set small goals and work to achieve them each day, and your dreams will become a reality right before your eyes.
