2025-2026 Academic Year Scholarships
Welcome to the Scholarship Information Page for the 2025-2026 academic year! At Southwest Tech, we are committed to helping every student achieve their goals by addressing financial gaps and ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed.
How to Access Scholarships
To be considered for scholarships for the upcoming academic year, all students must complete a Student Success Plan. This plan helps us understand your financial needs and allocate funds where they are most impactful.
Your Student Success Plan Includes:
- Financial Budget – Work with your financial aid advisor to create or update a budget for the 2025-2026 academic year. This budget will include your income, expenses, and the cost of college to identify financial gaps.
- FAFSA Completion– Submit your 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or have an approved exemption.

Why This Process?
This new scholarship model focuses on addressing each student’s unique financial needs. By creating a Student Success Plan, you gain a clearer understanding of your financial situation and can access resources designed to help you graduate on time and achieve your goals.
Dr. Jason Wood, Southwest Tech President, explains: "Our main priority is to ensure our students have the resources necessary to graduate on time and improve their lives. This model identifies specific student needs and allocates funds to offset those needs.”
