If the student disagrees with the school board's decision regarding comparability of courses or satisfaction of high school graduation requirements, the student may appeal the school board's decision to the state superintendent within 30 days after the decision.

College Level Courses While in High School

Start College Now allows students who are high school juniors or seniors the opportunity to take college courses at Wisconsin Technical Colleges during the regular academic year while also completing high school.

This program is designed to offer courses the high school does not have or cannot offer to a student who wants to go above and beyond in a subject area. One benefit of this program is the dual enrollment component. The course(s) the student takes gives them both high school credit toward graduation as well as college credit to take with them as they continue their educational journey.
