All Southwest Tech students are eligible to join the Active Minds at Southwest Tech Club

Active Minds at Southwest Tech is an inclusive student organization interested in reducing stigma and providing awareness around mental health issues. In addition, this club provides service to the community, offers leadership opportunities to Southwest Tech students, and creates opportunities to foster relationships. Each year Active Minds at Southwest Tech takes members to a professional conference that promotes education and awareness around mental health issues. These professional conferences present inspiring keynote speakers, excellent workshops, and a resource fair. Student officers and the club advisor lead the club's fund-raising activities for the Southwest Tech Holiday Project and defray the cost for club members to attend the annual conference. Other club activities include assisting community organizations with projects to meet their needs and enjoying recreational activities and celebrations.

The Active Minds at Southwest Tech Club meets the second Wednesday of each month in room 209.
